Hillary and Mark’s Wedding at St Francis Hall in Washington, DC – Wedding Photographer in Washington DC, Wedding Photographer in Maryland, Wedding Photographer in Virginia
When Mark was a kid, he got some sound advice from his priest, Father Michael Nasser, “If you invite your best friend to your wedding, you’re marrying the wrong person.” It took a minute to fully understand this when the preacher said this during their wedding ceremony at St. Francis Hall in Washington DC but wow! How profound! Hillary also added when she wrote to us “As corny as it is, it’s true – we’re best friends and are so lucky to have found each other.”
We knew we had an exceptional couple right from when we met them earlier this year. They are fun and interesting, with a charming love story of meeting while playing in a soccer game (talk about scoring the ultimate goal!). Both Hillary and Mark complement each other in really cute ways. Mark is outgoing, has lots of friends, and will promptly tell you he is from Nazareth right after posing funkily next to the religious statue on the picturesque grounds of St Francis Hall, while Hillary is sweet, gentle and can be found adding the perfect touches to floral arrangements on her wedding day! One thing they were both crazy about and made sure to request from us was getting a rap cover album pose lol!
They love life and people, and it became immediately obvious to us throughout the day exactly how LOVED our beautiful bride and groom are too! Their friends and family showed up in numbers to support them and even held up colorful sun shaped cutouts as a symbolic pledge to provide light and support for their marriage.
This was the first Palestinian American wedding we had ever photographed so we were super pumped to see how the wedding day would go and it was incredible. We loved seeing how the couple incorporated Arabic dancing and singing and clapping to bring their families together. It was a glorious day and we are very honored that our bride and groom chose us to document and photograph their wedding day!
