Nathena and John have such a special wedding story! One which they never imagined would end up in a splendid wedding at Newton White Mansion! Imagine that you are introduced to a guy in 2010 at Christmas, by your maid of honor nonetheless. You make a stank face and he says “Relax! I’m not trying to bag you. People exchange pins all the time!” How wrong was he lol!!
This is the ultimate love story and John’s words are forever etched in Nathena’s mind as 9 years later she has fallen irrevocably in love with this guy she met on a serendipitous Christmas eve many years ago. Nathena married her best friend and soulmate and we were there to witness the blessing of their marriage and beautiful life together. So how did they go from not wanting to exchange contact information to spending the rest of their lives together? They had just arrived from a Carnival a week before and Nathena was on her way out of town to search for a bridesmaid dress for her friend’s wedding when her mom called and asked if she could extend her trip out of town a while longer to go out to dinner with the family. Nathena agreed, not aware that she was in for the greatest surprise of her lifetime, because right after dinner, she turned around and saw John, with their baby and the whole family in the same restaurant several miles away from home, on bended knee asking her to marry him.The restaurant burst into applause and whistles as they kissed and she happily said YES! Our beautiful bride and groom brought that same exciting and love filled energy to their wedding day! Right from when we met Nathena we knew she was going to be an amazing bride and it was going to be a glorious wedding day. We are so honored to share in Nathena and John’s wedding day at the Newton White Mansion and hope you all enjoy the beautiful and fun images we captured of their day!
