Love is a mysterious thing and you never know how or when it will come calling for you.Our beautiful bride and groom had known each other for a long time before they dated, however, when Anna and Shola went on their first date at PF Chang’s, they never imagined that they would eventually fall in love, have a gorgeous wedding at the Ballroom in Bethesda and become a family, and family is very important to Anna and Shola.

In fact, when we called Anna the day before her wedding to finalize some details, her must have request was for a photograph of her sister’s photograph that one of the bridesmaids would be holding during the ceremony. Anna’s sister could not be at the wedding because she had passed away and Anna wanted to acknowledge her presence at the wedding. Shola proposed on Christmas day two years ago. He walked into the room with Anna’s son and in a very romantic gesture that brought tears to her eyes – they both got on one knee. It was a dream come true and after crying so hard from the raw emotion of the moment, she said YES!

Wedding day was so beautiful and it was amazing to see Anna in her beautiful long wedding gown – waiting to walk down the aisle. It was a gorgeous day, Anna was calm, cool and collected. She was such a dream to work with and we think we are one of the luckiest photographers to have been able to share in their big day with them.
