“Love Takes Time” is the title of a chart-topping Mariah Carey single but it’s often an adage that’s applicable to the love story of many couples who end up married. For Toya and Ivan, this certainly rings true as they met in their teens, went to prom together and then drifted apart for some time. But Facebook brought them back together. From their digital romance rekindling, the two dated and ultimately, Ivan proposed to Toya at a Top Golf location after he had to shift plans when Toya discovered his proposal plans during a trip to the Cayman Islands. The full potential of those plans were eventually realized in their fabulous wedding at the Bellevue Event and Conference Center in Chantilly, Virginia and we were honored to be their wedding photographers for their wedding day!
