College is one of the most significant and unforgettable times in your life. For the first time, you get to be away from family and live on your own, experiencing adulthood for yourself. One of the amazing things that can happen during this transformative phase in our lives is that you meet the love of your life. For Chrissy and Jerrod, who met in college, their discovery and growth of self intersected with their romantic and spiritual coupling. Their first date consisted of a romantic road trip, and that was just the first of many, many happy dates between the two. After 8 wonderful years of dating, the couple was finally ready to tie the knot and become the man and wife they’d always dreamed of becoming. The couple got ready for the big event at The Hotel at Arundel Preserve in Hanover, Md., where Chrissy was being helped into her dress by her closest friends and loved ones. Her bridal gown was a simple, but elegant dress that evoked class and grace. But while the white gown, veil and sparkly heels were worn for the ceremony, Chrissy packed a pair of Jordans for the reception, because comfort and function matter too!

In another room at the hotel, Jerrod and his groomsmen were gearing up for the big day. While Jerrod spent time reflecting on the commitment he was about to make, he did so with the blessing and brotherly support of his closest friends and family.The ceremony was heartfelt and beautiful, with tears of joy being shed for the Chrissy and Jerrod as they exchanged their vows and expressed their love for one another. The ceremony was completed with blessing and singing, and as the couple kissed, everyone cheered. After the ceremony wrapped, it was time to snap photos of the new husband and wife with the wedding party. No matter what pose they struck, they all looked like they belonged in the pages of a wedding magazine. It helped that the vibrant green grass and picturesque blue sky were the backdrop for these stunning, natural light, outdoor photographs.

At the reception hall — which had been elaborately decorated in honor of the event, with glorious china placed on the tables and a majestic cake standing proudly in the corner — friends and family had already poured into the room, eager to celebrate this union with joy and blessings.Speeches and toasts were made and several awe-inspiring dance moves were displayed, with the beautiful bride and her handsome groom at the center of it all. 

We took a final parting shot of the couple on the dance floor, and we are so grateful that we got to be a part of their special day.  Chrissy and Jerrod, we send you off into the next chapter of your life with blessings and we are excited for you as you embark on this next chapter of your lives as man and wife!
