Mia and Jerice’s Wedding at Grand Lodge in Cockeysville, MD – Wedding Photography in Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC

They say that there is no perfect couple, and that there is no such thing as a perfect love story, but no one can say such a thing to a couple whose fairytale had just come true. Mia and Jerice may have followed the path of what could be considered a normal love story, there is nothing normal about this couple, and the magic they share is one that everyone strives to have in their own lives. We are so honored that they chose us to photograph their wedding at the Lord Baltimore Hotel.. Mia and Jerice met in college, and it wasn’t long before sparks were flying. They began dating, and enjoyed doing many different things together as a couple – especially travel. Dating with a future in mind, the two of them were eager to be married and begin their lives together as husband and wife – starting and building their family. Jerice surprised Mia for her 30th birthday with a ring, and since that day she had greatly anticipated becoming his wife.We started the day with Mia at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in MD as she joyfully prepared for her big day. With her extensive group of bridesmaids, getting ready for the ceremony was a party in itself. Dancing and laughter was the norm as she got her hair and makeup done, and the anticipation filled the air.

Meanwhile, Jerice got ready with his own party of groomsmen at the Delta Marriott. Each of the men looked sharp after slipping into their suits, but the expression on Jerice’s face shone above them all. Both bride and groom slipped into their rides, headed for the location of the ceremony. Guests had gathered at the Grand Lodge and were eagerly awaiting the arrival of the wedding party. Each one craned their necks trying to get a glimpse of the members of the group as they entered the building, but when Mia walked in the room, all eyes were on her and her alone. She walked to the front of the room to an emotional reunion with Jerice, and the two exchanged their vows in a captivating way.

When the ceremony was over, guests filed toward the reception hall – which had been elegantly decorated in honor of the event. Meanwhile, we photographers met with the couple outdoors to snap some of the most eloquent photographs of the bride and groom surrounded by their parties. By the time we got back inside, the celebration was already underway.

Dancing was the theme of the evening as guests of all ages got in on the action. With speeches and well wishes floating through the air, there was no end to the laughter and joy that ran like electricity through the room. Everywhere smiles flashed on the faces of guests, and happiness was the theme of the evening.

The dance between Mia and Jerice was enough to give everyone in the room goosebumps, and tossing both the garter and the bouquet was enough to bring laughter to the room once more. Of course, we had to snap a few parting shots of the couple as they wrapped up their big day together.
