In our modern world, there is no typical love story. The days of boy randomly meets girl are gone, and we have more ways than ever to connect with each other – and there are times this connection leads to so much more. Few people appreciate this truth as much as Diamond and Brian – two young people who originally met on a dating site, and sparked a relationship that led to their happily ever after. Diamond and Brian met in person for the first time at a movie theater, then wrapped up their modern meeting in a classical way – with dinner. Sparks flew from the moment they met, and within days they knew that they had something special going on. After several months of dating, they were ready to tie the knot and enter the next chapter of their journey as man and wife. We at Judah Avenue met with the couple at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel in MD, where Diamond was getting ready for the wedding ceremony surrounded by her bridesmaids. Diamond chose a dazzling strapless dress, and by the time she had finished getting her hair and makeup applied, she looked as though she belonged on the red carpet itself. Jokes and laughter filled the air as she prepared for the big moment, all the while Brian also made ready surrounded by his band of groomsmen. We took the opportunity to snap photos of both the bride and groom with their respective parties, capturing all the anticipation of the moment.
Outside, the guests had already filled the seats that had been placed carefully for the ceremony. Everyone craned their necks in anticipation for the arrival of the bride, and when she appeared, an awed hush fell over the crowd. After the couple exchanged their vows, we sprang into action, taking the first photos of this couple as man and wife. Of course, a few couldn’t resist snapping a few selfies with others in the group. As soon as the ceremony was over, the guests made their way to the reception hall, which had been elaborately decorated in honor of the event.
The artistic cake stood proudly in the corner of the room, and elegant decorations flooded the tables. It wasn’t long before the real celebration began, and soon dancing, speeches, jokes, and laughter floated through the air. It was clear everyone in the group – from the oldest to the youngest – wished to get on board with the festivities. Of course, Diamond and Brian were never far from each other, enjoying dances, removing the garter, and slicing the first piece of cake together. It seemed there was no end to the joy that was shared among the group, and the support that filled the air was overwhelming.
We couldn’t help but snap one final shot of the couple at the end of the evening, sending them into the next chapter of their lives with the perfect image to start this journey together. The love between them shines brightly, and we were elated that we got to be part of sharing that with the entire world.
