Shaina and Ali – Engagement Photographer in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia

A night out at the bar is a great way to meet new people – but for someone who happens to be working at a bar, there never is any real way to know the kinds of people you are going to meet.

Shaina was used to meeting all different kinds of people, and getting to know them through the time they spent at the bar she tended. Of course, she was polite and talkative to everyone, though there were times it was the job alone that caused her to do so. The night she met Ali, she might have been polite and had a smile on her face, but she found him irritating and rude.

However, Ali happened to be a regular at the bar, and eventually, the two began to bond over jokes and common interest – something that made Shaina realize he wasn’t a jerk at all. They began dating, and fell in love.

Then, on Christmas Eve, he asked her to marry him – the best Christmas present Shaina had ever received. It was then that we here at Judah Avenue were given the opportunity to meet this wonderful couple.

We met Shaina and Ali for an outdoor engagement photography session, and we had a blast! Everyone is nervous the first time they have these kinds of sessions, which is why they are a great thing to do – not only did we get the chance to get to know Shaina and Ali, but we were also able to bond and loosen up in front of the cameras, giving them a picture of exactly what their wedding day will be like.We managed to snap many different photos as they struck poses and just enjoyed spending time with each other, and us! With both indoor and outdoor scenes, we were able to capture the love and beauty of this couple, and we can’t wait to be a part of their magical wedding day.
