The best day of your life is the day when you finally get to marry your best friend, and as wedding photographers, we always feel blessed to be part of that special moment in anyone’s lives. Seeing the love and excitement in everyone’s eyes as they get ready for the special ceremony, then seeing the couple come together at last – every wedding we attend is like the happy ending to a fairy tale. This time we got to work with one of the most amazing wedding planners in the Maryland area – Ebony Sparkles and true to the Sparkling Events promise, this was a sparkling fairytale wedding!

And if anyone had a fairy tale wedding, it was Bernardine and Desmond. From the moment we arrived at the Bernadine’s home to the church ceremony to wrapping up the special day at Kamran Dar-e Mehr, this Maryland wedding was a perfect day from the beginning. We arrived as the bride and her groom were getting ready, taking every opportunity to photograph both friends and family as our beautiful bride got her makeup done. She looked like a queen.

Her beautiful strapless gown reached to the floor, with an elegant train behind it. Desmond looked might sharp himself in his blue tuxedo and matching bowtie. Friends and family members of all ages surrounded the couple as they made ready for their special moment, and we managed to capture it all with our cameras.

This was a bit of funny moment that we simply had to capture. Our photographers rounded the corner to see one of the groomsmen trying to figure out how to tie a bowtie, he needed a mannequin and one of our staff Leslie stepped up to the task. You know we definitely had to catch that one! lol

Then, it was off to the church. The pews of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church filled quickly as everyone tried to get a good view of the couple’s ceremony. Bernardine’s young maid of honor looked like royalty herself standing in front of the other attendants. After lovingly exchanging their vows, the couple shared a kiss in front of the crowd, it was a breathtaking moment for everyone.

Our beautiful bride arrives in a limo positively gushing with joy! A wedding is always bound to be a joyful one when the couple is relaxed and radiant with happiness. She could not wait to meet her groom at the altar.

We weren’t about to let the moment slip away, and as soon as the ceremony was over, we wedding photographers snapped as many photos as we could of the couple and their group. From the groomsmen to the maids to the couple themselves, everyone looked perfect in their suits and dresses.

But the excitement was far from over. At 5, we headed to the reception hall at Kamran Dar-e Mehr – and what a hall it was. The gorgeous wedding cake took center stage, perfectly complimented by the colors and décor in the room. Ebony Sparkles, the wedding planner, really knows how to make a wedding shine!

And that’s when the celebration really began. With dancing and dining and plenty of well wishes from loving friends and family, the couple was lavished with love and support from everyone. We took every opportunity we could to snap photos of the festivities – and even managed to capture Bernardine and Desmond looking like actual royalty.

The celebration lasted the entire evening – no one wanted to leave when the time finally came. Thank you to our amazing bride and groom, we are thrilled that we got to be a part of the day you start your new life together. Cheers to a long and happy marriage!
