Christina and Paul’s wedding at Foxchase Manor in Manassas Virginia

Dreams come true! As wedding photographers we are so often given the rare opportunity of seeing dreams come to life right before our very eyes… and few stories illustrate this fact so well as the wedding of Christina and Paul in Foxchase Manor, Manassas, Virginia. Christina and Paul, Pastor Paul, to be exact are an incredible couple! From tear jerking vows to the soulful musical performance given by the bride at the reception, I have never seen a more vibrant and lively celebration and we felt privileged to be a part of it all.

From the very first photo we snapped of the dress and of Christina as she prepared for the occasion, we could see what a veritable goddess Christina –  was going to be. The fine details of each lace accent, the delicate way she wore her eyeshadow… she truly looked as though she stepped right out of heaven for this joyous occasion. As friends and family swarmed around the couple, we photographers took the opportunity to take a few shots of the anticipation that was so clearly written across everyone’s faces, and it was with great enthusiasm we managed to capture images of both the bride and groom separately with their friends and family.

Ethiopian wedding makeup artist Makki of Blush by Makki did an amazing job bringing out the natural luminance of our bride Christina’s face, we love this close up photograph of her face. Wedding photographers love to get real close and personal and we love when we can do that without worrying.

Throughout the entire wedding, you can see the love brimming over as each member of this Christian family helps the others prepare for the special moment. Our wedding photographers soaked up the moment with almost as much happiness as the family was feeling. Ethiopians hold marriage and family in high regard, and each member of the family plays a major role in preparing for the wedding. They firmly believe in the union lasting a lifetime, and celebrate the day accordingly with pomp and pageantry. You can see the pride and joy in each one of the bride’s family members as they await the moment she comes into view.
