Welcome to Victoria and Roger’s wedding held at the Foxchase Manor in Manassas, Virginia. Our beautiful couple booked us last year and also coordinated an engagement photo shoot with us while we were in Ghana for a wedding! After several months of planning and anticipation it feels like we had been waiting forever! Victoria being the lovely and sweet person wanted get dressed in her parent’s house instead of a hotel room because of the memories that the home held for her so we did our best to make the photos as dreamy as possible:) At the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom started their journey on a path strewn with delicate flower petals, and this elegant simplicity continued through the reception where roses and orchids were featured in stunning arrangements placed in silver and crystal vases, which played beautifully with the soft light of the candles and chandeliers, as well as with the satin and shimmer of the tablecloths.
When we arrived, the bridal party’s shoes were all laid out in preparation for pictures. Petals with shades of lavender, peach, and violet were strewn on the bed and featured throughout the event. At the reception, the stylish, six-layer wedding cake was embellished with roses and ribbons, as well as a delicate paisley pattern, which blended wonderfully with the surrounding flowers, emphasizing the event’s simple, natural grace. The dance floor, which was enjoyed fully by all of the guests, was further personalized with the couple’s monogram, done in a sophisticated script with gobo lighting. Foxchase Manor in Manassas, Virginia features old world charm with stately architecture, as exemplified by the impressive Ionic columns that decorate the building’s façade. Roger presented Victoria with a custom made portrait of her. The artist used one of the engagement photos we took of them for the painting. We simply swooned over it!
and then there was a sweet letter that came with the gift delivery from the groom that had everyone in the room including the bride misty eyed…she could barely contain herself for these portraits.
This old world charm with their wedding decor designed by BCG events continued into the majestic ballrooms of Foxchase Manor featuring wonderfully elegant chandeliers, marbling flooring, and wall sconces. Outdoor events can also be held on the site’s patio. The various venues on the property can accommodate weddings that range from intimate affairs to grand events of up to five hundred guests. Fox Chase Manor also has the distinction of having the metropolitan area’s only full service special events and bridal showroom.
As always, BCG Events, a wedding planning and wedding decoration company in Maryland did an incredible job of transforming the rooms of Foxchase Manor with majestic decor and glorious details
