We simply love photographing weddings at Overhills Mansion in Catonsville, Maryland! So here we are again with the wedding of Vicky and Ryan from just a few weekends ago on the heels of Julia and Will’s wedding also at Overhills Mansion. I have been in love with this couple ever since I met them for their engagement session over a year ago and have been looking forward to photographing their wedding at Overhills Mansion .

Details are very important in telling the story of a wedding day. I wanted to preserve the classic and timeless beauty of the square cut diamond ring by photographing it next to these pearls which did not compete with her diamonds but simply bloomed to complement the other.

Vicky’s something blue from her wedding was a memoir from her grandmother that she had sewn into her wedding dress. She told me that she wanted to keep her grandmother close to her heart as she walked down the aisle on her wedding day. That made me misty eyed and when I saw the dress i knew exactly the shot to create for my beautiful bride, and so the story of Vicky and Ryan’s beautiful wedding at Overhills Mansion continues…
