I am sure my birthday last weekend will be making it into the Whistledown Society papers. I had a fabulous scandal free pandemic birthday and celebrated with a last minute photo shoot made possible by my husband, His Grace, the duke Ricky who was so patient with me and allowed me to boss him around for a whole hour to get all my good angles 😂 Every woman deserves a beautiful portrait and I got to feel what it’s really like to be behind the camera (and not wrangling kids either) with the sole focus on you. It’s a very vulnerable experience and you really need to have a photographer who you can trust to capture your beauty and portray you as you see yourself in the mirror. It requires a lot of trust and care and it made me really value my job as a photographer. I am now even more excited to capture this for the women who trust us to document their official portraits, I know what you want to look like and how you want to feel while getting your portraits taken. I’m positively brimming with creativity, love and excitement for all the amazing portraits we re going to be capturing this year! Imagine your grandchildren seeing this someday and soaking up the joy and self care that you had for yourself! Don’t wait till everything is perfect before getting your portraits taken, just find someone you trust to capture your beauty. There are gorgeous angles of yourself that you yourself can see when you look in your bathroom mirror, find that in your portraits. This was last minute, I just felt a need to capture my last year before I turned 40, my kids think I’m perfect and my photographer does too and captured it❤️ Thank you to everyone who left me warm wishes for my special day!
