Angela and James had an unconventional wedding day! We had never had a wedding at the Culture House in Washington DC, which was formerly known as the Blind Whino, so we were super excited for the day to get here. We had never met Angela or James so truthfully we did not know what to expect from meeting them in person though we LOVED them over the phone. Our bride was beautiful and sweet and we were just stunned at what a beautiful couple her and James were. They had been together for many years and it was evident in their interactions and all the love that they were surrounded with on wedding day.The Culture house was incredible smorgasbord delight of color from the interior to the exterior. As if the venue itself was not a thrill, our bride surprised her groom James with a celebrity performance from the one and only Coko from SWV! See what a fabulous day we had with Angela and James in the pictures below! Jocelyn from Events by J Avery was in charge of planning the day and she did a phenomenal job making Angela and James’ dream day a reality!
