Liz and Jeff are so amazing! We knew they were going to be an awesome couple right from meeting them over the phone and they lived up to our expectations and more! The gorgeous location they chose (French Creek Golf Club), the fabulous display of Kenyan culture and the warmth and beauty of our bride and groom all made for one unforgettable wedding day!

The drive to Delaware and Pennsylvania was very scenic, so we naturally arrived very excited to capture both wedding videography and wedding photography for their wedding day, but nothing prepared us for exactly how beautiful their wedding day at the French Creek Golf Club was going to be. First we had to go to Liz’s house because according to their Kenyan tradition, the beautiful bride had to get ready from home and also had to be picked up by her aunties to the ceremony location. The bridal pickup was a festive event in its own.

All of Liz and Jeff’s aunties gathered around the front door of their home singing and clapping their hands to joyful, rhythmic and upbeat songs in their ethnic languages to celebrate and usher the bride into marriage. It was so emotional seeing how one woman could have so much community support for her wedding day. In fact the joyful noise was so much that the neighbors came out to watch and wave to the procession as the bride was led to the limo bound for the ceremony location. It was quite the celebration!!

Our beautiful bride and groom were not only gorgeous but such a pleasure to work with! It warms our heart remembering the big smile that Liz greeted us with when we arrive. Seriously she positively clapped and rubbed her hands in glee, saying “I’m so excited” when she saw us. With that sort of welcome we became even more pumped and ready for their wedding day.
