We have photographed a lot of weddings at Martin’s West in Baltimore, Maryland, but each one is even more exciting that the previous wedding and Jassie and Ryan’s wedding was no exception. Jassie chose a lovely coral color that complimented her location and the beautiful day. Everything was well thought out and coordinated from her coral nail polish to the coral accents on the broom that they jumped on at the ceremony.

Jassie and Ryan’s wedding at Martin’s West consisted of quite a special ceremony because the groom – Ryan’s – father, was the officiant for their wedding and they spoke their vows at their home church. Jassie’s mom was wrought with joyous emotion. As Jassie stepped into her wedding dress – amidst the urgency ot trying to figure out how to lace a corset dress (lol) – her mom started to pray a prayer of thanksgiving for the day.

We had to hold back tears of admiration because we found out that on our bride and groom’s first date to a drumline event, Jassie’s mom was in the backseat trying to sleep and praying that they would end up together. Looks like her prayers were answered in this dream come true wedding day! The power of a praying mother cannot be underestimated! Congratulations to Jassie and Ryan, we wish you a lifetime of joy!
