Charrell and Andre’s Wedding at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor — Wedding Photographer in Maryland

Love comes at unexpected times and from unexpected places. Charrell and Andre’s love story started out on a matchmaking site, but as Andre scrolled through his matches, he saw Charrell and noted her interest in Law & Order, her love for food and adult beverages, and her intelligence and sense of independence, and he thought to himself, “She’s out of my league.”

But once he received a notification that Charrell had checked out his profile in return, he felt a surge of confidence and his shy, nervous demeanor dissolved and he sent her a message. From there, the spark was apparent and the couple hit it off instantly. After two years of dating, Andre knew that Charrell was the one and the couple had fallen in love with the concept of those love locks in Paris.

There was a similar love lock wall in Philadelphia near Spruce Street Harbor, so Andre planned to use a love lock to propose to Charrell there, but unfortunately, travel delays got the best of them as they were heading to Portugal for a trip and they didn’t have time to stop by the wall before catching their flight. So in Lisbon, before they were heading off to Belém, Andre placed that lock on coat hook of the back of the door in the bathroom and queued up Jagged Edge’s “Let’s Get Married.” By the time she emerged from the bathroom, there Andre was on one knee with a ring in his hand proposing to her.

This engagement story is the beginning, however. Charrell and Andre had an absolutely stunning wedding at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Baltimore, Md., in the iconic Baltimore Inner Harbor. It was an enchanting affair that featured touching, joyous moments that truly symbolized the love between this absolutely lovely couple. Enjoy the images below.
