When it’s meant to be it’s meant to be. Nine years ago Yosief spotted a beautiful, warm, charming and elegant lady at a wedding. He requested an introduction to her but she was in a relationship, was not interested and walked away. Year later, that relationship dissolved and a relative, after a long speech, told Sara she needed to start dating again. She asked if she could give her number to this really awesome guy that she knew. He was a perfect gentleman and not a player at all. Sara agreed and after a few days, the mystery guy called. They chatted for hours and continued talking every day, and when they met they felt like they had known each other forever! They fell in love deeply and to Sara’s surprise, she discovered that Yosief was the same guy who had requested an introduction at that wedding 9 years ago! Her destiny had found her after all.Their wedding day was simply glorious. Sara and Yosief had a traditional Eritrean wedding. She wore a traditional dress replete with gorgeous ornaments and headpiece. Their ceremony was a catholic ceremony that was spiritual, ceremonial and poignant! It was simply beautiful and we are so honored that they chose us to be their wedding photographer. The wedding was beautifully executed by Yodit of Favored by Yodit.

This part of the wedding day was a sweet moment that made us all emotional. Eritreans really value family and a big part of the Eritrean wedding day is set aside just for family photos. We went across the street to the St. Francis Hall monastry for Sara and Yosief’s family photos as planned, but  when Sara saw her family members standing around, she became emotional after a few family photos and her smiles turned to tears of love and joy. We had to hold ourselves not to cry with her.
