Sometimes, friendships blossom into something more. For Natasha and Tony, that was definitely the case. After being friends for 15 years, their romantic relationship was built on a strong foundation of support and admiration. Their wedding, which was held at the George Peabody Library in Baltimore, Maryland, was a lavish, sophisticated affair that celebrated the couple’s undying love and affection for one another. The rich gold hues that decorate the Peabody Library gave the wedding a truly royal touch. The value of an efficient and proactive wedding planner is priceless, and Maelzo Events was absolutely wonderful to work with from the very beginning, and they worked tirelessly to make sure that the day was flawless for the bride and groom.
Natasha and her bridesmaids got ready at Hotel Monaco, also in Baltimore. We always recommend that our brides pick their getting ready location just as carefully as they select their wedding ceremony and wedding reception location. The rooms at Hotel Monaco were spacious, elegantly decorated and filled with lots of sweet magical light, which we could not get enough of. We literally walked in super excited for this day! Natasha and Tony had hired us months ago, even without meeting us. They booked virtually every package we offered including engagement photos, so while the wedding day was not the first time we were meeting them, there was a high level of pressure to amaze them. We already knew the bride and groom were beautiful and they had photographed beautifully during their engagement photo shoot with us, but this was a once in a lifetime, today we would only have one chance to capture everything and we wanted it to be nothing short of phenomenal.
A heart-touching personal note from her groom, Tony, left Natasha feeling speechless. In fact, the note left everyone, including her wedding photographers and wedding videographers. There was not a dry eye left in the room.
After the bridal ensemble was completed, Natasha looked truly stunning. The hair, the shoes, the make-up and the dress, it all comes together to make the bride glow.
This little guy was the life of the party. Sometimes we can’t get kids to sit still and that’s perfectly fine because when everyone jumps in on the fun we get epic shots like this:)
While there’s often a lot said about what it takes to put a bride together on her wedding day, grooms also go through their own getting ready rituals. Surrounded by friends, Tony pulled together his tuxedo, polished his shoes and put on his Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity-emblazoned cufflinks.
This is the truly pivotal moment of every wedding: When the bride walks down the aisle, arm-in-arm with her father as she marches toward her soon-to-be husband.
With the wedding ceremony completed, it was time to head on to the reception and PARTY! The George Peabody Library and its golden halls played host to an extravagant affair, completed with delicate and finely detailed decorations.
We couldn’t be more honored and pleased to have served as the photographers for Natasha and Tony’s wedding. Their day was truly memorable and the memories we captured on their wedding day will last them a lifetime. In addition to their wedding photos, here are a few snaps from their engagement session.
And last but not least, Judah Avenue Photography was also the official videographer for Natasha and Tony’s wedding. While the pictures we captured are awe-inspiring, seeing the wedding in motion takes everything to another level. Watch their wedding video below!
