There are so many things that draw people together in life. Some call it fate, others call it divine intervention, and some believe that what is meant to be is meant to be. Sienna and Kevin are two people drawn together through a mutual interest, and though they have known each other since they were in high school, it was a love of Justin Timberlake that truly brought them together. When they went on their first date, the two of them couldn’t get enough of each other. Between miniature golf, the Fiji Hibachi Grill for dinner, and a movie after, the couple spent hours together just talking and getting to know each other. They were so enamored with each other’s conversation, they didn’t even kiss on the first date. Of course, that was just the beginning. Soon, the couple became inseparable, and after 2 years of dating, Kevin proposed at the WWI memorial. All of their close family and friends were there to see the proposal, which was extra special due to the location being where the two of them had their second date and shared their first kiss.
Sienna and Kevin greatly looked forward to their wedding day – Sienna really looked forward to getting to work with us from Judah Avenue as we are her favorite photographers. We at Judah Avenue met with Sienna and Kevin as the two of them got ready for the big ceremony at the Liaison Hotel in Washington D.C. It was a beautiful morning, and there was plenty of smiles and laughter filling the air as hair was fixed and makeup was applied. By the time Sienna slipped into her dress, everyone was filled with anticipation for the moment to come.
In another room, Kevin also got ready for the big moment sharing champagne and good times with his own close friends and family. Again, the jokes and laughter were filling the air as all prepared for one of the biggest moments these two were going to share in their lives. Nothing beats the sight of when Sienna’s father saw her in her dress for the first time, and the joyful moment that was shared between them. After the first reveal to Kevin and another tearful moment, it was on to the location. Guests had already filled their seats at the Capitol View rooftop terrace, but we were sure to snap some photos of the bride, groom, and their parties before the big moment. The location was absolutely perfect for tons of shots of the couple – both as the couple and with their respective parties. The ceremony itself was beautiful, with their modest yet regal cake standing in the corner. Everyone craned their necks to see the couple exchange their vows, and when they kissed, there everyone cheered. The terrace had been beautifully decorated in honor of the event by Kim of Violet Gardens floral and the ceremony flowed into a celebration. With laughter and blessings, speeches and dancing, the afternoon turned to night. We took the opportunity to snap photos of everything, making the most of every moment.Though these two are obviously a match made in heaven, they will always say that it was Justin Timberlake who brought them together. After all, with degrees in opposite fields, this Pinky and the Brain combination might look too different on paper, but they are absolutely perfect for each other in real life.
Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your special day, it’s clear that you are going to have many, many beautiful years together, and all of us here at Judah Avenue want to extend our congratulations.
