One of the tests of true love is whether it is able to stand the test of time. For some, this means they are together from day one. For others, it means they are together on and off for years. For Krystle and Deonte, service in the military meant they would be together on and off for eleven years, but love kept them committed through it all. Krystle and Deonte met at church and had their first date at TGI Fridays. There was an instant connection, and throughout their years as a couple, they enjoyed many wonderful adventures together. Deonte finally proposed at Krystle’s father’s Pastoral Anniversary Banquet at The Mandarin Hotel in front of 300 people – and she was proud to say, “Yes!”
Krystle was surrounded by her closest friends and family as the couple as got ready at the Willard Intercontinental in Washington, D.C. She looked gorgeous as she stepped into her stunning, white gown. By the time her bridesmaids had finished with her, she looked like a queen. Deonte got ready in another room in the hotel and he looked perfectly sharp in his tuxedo.
Then, it was on to the ceremony! This beautiful couple chose the First Baptist Church of Highland Park in Landover, Md., and it was beautifully decorated for the event. Guests eagerly awaited the arrival of the wedding party, lining the pews left to right. When the procession began, everything was perfect. All eyes were on Krystle as she walked up the aisle, and when they lovingly exchanged their vows, there were happy tears shed all around. We were certain to snap photos of the new couple as man and wife – especially as they climbed into the horse-drawn carriage that was waiting to take them back to the reception hall. By the time they arrived, guests had already filled the room, admiring all the decorations, which were done by BCG Events, and the magical atmosphere. The reception was held at Willard Intercontinental in D.C. The room looked elegant, as the elaborate decor set a rich atmosphere and was topped off with a majestic cake standing in the corner. The night was filled with joy and happiness. Every guest, from the oldest to the youngest, was eager to get a precious moment with the bride and groom. Of course, the couple spent plenty of time with each other as well, taking in the moment as newlyweds. It was a lively celebration that lasted long into the night, with our expert photographers taking photos of it all. This unforgettable evening was full of essential and impactful moments and memories that will last this couple a lifetime.
With a final parting shot, we are happy to say this couple is going to enter the next chapter of their lives happily side by side.
