Jackie and Ryan are very special to us. From the very moment we met them we knew this was going to be all about love! This was further confirmed when after the initial meeting, Ryan secretly contacted us to schedule a surprise proposal all the way in Rhode Island. Ryan pulled all the stops from carefully planning the date and time, flying the photographer out down to the very dress that Jackie would wear for the proposal. We had never seen such devotion in a man, and after spending a wonderful afternoon with this couple photographing the surprise proposal Ryan gave to Jackie, we at Judah Avenue couldn’t wait for their wedding day. Our wedding photographers Joy and Nii met with Jackie and Ryan at the Wannamoisett Country Club in Rumford, Rhode Island. That location was a sight to behold!
Everyone had a blast as Jackie got ready for the ceremony. Her hair and makeup looked absolutely perfect, and by the time she was ready to step into her dress, she looked as though she ought to be on the cover of a bridal magazine. Her bridal party was full of members of all ages, and each person was clearly filled with more excitement than they could contain.
A limo took the party to the destination, where we met with Ryan. He’d gotten himself ready also surrounded by his friends and family, and he looked every bit as excited as Jackie herself.Jackie actually is a motivational fitness trainer so the day could not begin without a quick workout move or two to get ready for the biggest day of her life. She specializes in getting brides ready for their big day and you can find her at www.jackieenos.com . She also had a first look with her father. This was a very sweet moment and we can’t imagine how dad must have felt seeing his baby girl as a bride for the first time!
Jackie wasn’t the only one getting ready for the day! Here you can see our handsome, committed, devoted and all round fabulous groom Ryan getting prepped up as well. His details from cigars to shoes were impeccable and classy! The pop of mint in his socks was a hoot! We loved it! Here we guess the groomsmen were making sure that Ryan took a peek at their engagement photos to make sure he knew what his good side was for the photos today. lol:))The lawn had been beautifully prepared with chairs and flowers, and it wasn’t long before the guests started spilling in, quickly filling each and every available seat. Then, the procession began.Adorable ringbearers followed by angelic flower girls made the way for the bride, who proudly walked on the arm of her father up the middle of the aisle. The ceremony was lighthearted and fun, reflecting the good natured attitude of this couple. As soon as the vows were said and the sealing kiss was made, we took the opportunity to photograph the newlyweds surrounded by their loved ones.
The day was perfect for an outdoor wedding, and as the sunshine fell on Jackie’s shoulders, she turned heads everywhere she went. But that wasn’t the end of the day by any means. We seriously fell in love with the mint green and fuchsia theme.
The reception hall had been gloriously decorated in celebration of the event, with the same delicate pink theme running throughout the entire space. The rest of the day was filled with the well wishes and blessings from the couple’s loved ones, as well as dancing, laughter, and good times being shared by everyone, even down to the youngest of the group. Guests signed their names in the book and offered their words of wisdom to the new couple, and it was clear to everyone that these two are incredibly loved.
Because we are photojournalistic wedding photographers we wanted to help explain any unaccounted for dents in the wedding cake. Here you go Jackie, caught in action, you can thank us later! lolI guess when you have had sweet access to the wedding cake before everyone else you feel like you the man! Another telling moment lolJackie dazzled in her heels and Ryan couldn’t help but show off his new bride by lifting her high into the air, bringing more joy and laughter to the already celebratory event.
And what better way to wrap up such a wonderful event and kick off a brand new life together than by doing it in style? As the day began to fade, we were thrilled to snap shots of the couple being sent off amidst the fun and flare of sparklers, the perfect ending to the perfect day.
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this big moment in your lives, and know that all of us here at Judah Avenue wish you nothing but the best that life has to offer. Congratulations to you both!
