Sedi and Amen’s Wedding in Virginia – Wedding Photographer in Washington DC Maryland Virginia

One of the most rewarding things we get to experience as wedding photographers is the richness of celebration. No two weddings are exactly alike, and every now than then there are those who choose to celebrate their special day in a slightly different way. No one did this better than Sedi and Amen.

We caught up with this beautiful young couple as they got ready at their hotel in Fairfax, Vermont. We got to work, eagerly snapping photos of all the colorful adornments each of the pair would be wearing during their special ceremony. Sedi looked like a queen as she got her hair and makeup done, and you can see the anticipation clearly written across all the faces of her bridesmaids.

There is a refined elegance about Sedi that can’t be compared to, both before and after she put on her gown. The rich colors of the traditional style perfectly complimented the look of her makeup, capturing the complete essence of this bride.

In another room hands were also flying as each of the groomsmen helped Amen make ready for his special moment. The royal blue of his suit perfectly matched the blue of Sedi’s gown, reflecting once again the perfection that shines around this couple.

We took the opportunity to get as many photos as we could of the bride and her maids, as well as the groom and his men before the ceremony. Friends and family eagerly awaited the arrival of the young couple, then the moment itself erupted in color and smiles as two families joined together.

Sedi and Amen look like the perfect couple as they pose for the first time as husband and wife, and there is little doubt of the love they feel as they lovingly hold each other.

Then it was off to the reception! Friends and family eagerly gathered once again as they all celebrated the special day. The room looked as though it was set for royalty with the elegant decorations and the sequin table cloth – and the cake stood proudly in the corner – the crowning point to the entire event.

Speeches were made and there was plenty of dancing as both friends and family congratulated the couple on entering the next chapter of their lives. They will certainly treasure the well wishes and blessings they will find lovingly written to them in their wedding book.
