While most people think of libraries as a place for books, did you know they also make fabulous wedding venues? The majestic George Peabody Library in Baltimore, Md., is one of the top 50 wedding venues in America and I had the fortune and opportunity photograph Crystal and William’s wedding there 3 weeks ago. The couple really fell in love with the venue and it was important to them both to have the city of Baltimore as a backdrop for their wedding. For example, during the first look, the couple insisted on having the city’s skyline with the baltimore monument in the background. If you’re planning a Baltimore wedding, the George Peabody Library is definitely a rich, ornate venue for your matrimonial affair.
This was literally the groom’s face when he saw his beautiful bride before the wedding ceremony and reception at the George Peabody Library. He was blown away and then they got emotional right afterward! This is one of the most beautiful scenes a wedding photographer could capture.
A view of the Baltimore skyline with the Washington monument (nope, not to be confused with the one in DC) in the background. This is the first monument built to honor the nation’s first president.
Friendly Baltimore residents driving through the neighborhood honk their horns and wave congratulations to the bridal party as we took bridal party formals.
