Baby T’s Cake Smash and Family Session

Here are a few shots from Baby T’s one year old session. We started out in the studio and tried to tutu her up but she wasn’t having any of that.  She did not want to be a ballerina but once we stepped into the beautiful sunshine outdoors, she transformed into a completely different person. The fussing turned into gigles of laughter, great big smiles and all round fun tripping over in excitement! When we came back into the studio for her cake smash, she was ready to play. This is a totally outdoorsy girl and I’m so glad we figured out the secret!

yewande - yay!! we had so much fun. was nervous going in but Nafa was extremely patient with Tami. made us feel so comfortable and it shows in the pictures. we are definitely coming back. great job

Baby Niko’s Newborn Session on the Avenue!

Newborn photography is not the same as wedding photography. It is a different type of photography with its own set of challenges and triumphs, but now that my beautiful brides are becoming beautiful mommies, I figured it was time to give it a shot. I was soooo nervous about how to position him and worried about whether he would wake up or stay sleeping, whether he would cry or sprinkle, but Niko was absolutely amazing. I felt like he sensed my insecurities and just decided to work with me, hot bright flashes and all. He was a calm, sweet, patient and oh so adorable teacher. I am so in love with his photos…oh and music on this collection below.

Parents-Erika and Richard - We are so glad we had the pleasure of working with Judah Avenue Photography in particular our wonderful photographer, Nafa. For this being her first newborn session, she never skipped a beat and was able to caputre such lovely ever lasting photos of such a short precious phase of a newborn’s life and the experience of first time parents. The whole process was smooth and professional; from the first consultation to the follow up grandparents photo session. Alone the quality of her work speaks for itself. Nafa was well prepared with her equipment and with poses and ideas but at the same time was open to our suggestions and our ideas.
