Exactly two years ago to their wedding weekend, Victoria and Jean-Bernard went on their first date together. It was to the Spring Gala at George Washington University, the college that the two were both attending as graduate students. That first date quickly led to a romance that has now blossomed and manifested into a marriage, which was officially recognized in a regal, timeless wedding ceremony in Washington D.C.
A nice set of heels usually draws attention at a wedding, but Victoria’s shoes were especially eye-catching with the intricate jewelry on the back.
After her primping and pampering, Victoria grabbed her yellow heels and headed off for the beloved groom who awaited her arrival.
Engagement shoots done by a professional photography can really allow a couple to personalize their wedding with stunning images of themselves in the decor and wedding favors.
That moment when a bride puts on her veil is an iconic moment that has been captured often in photographs, but that pivotal moment also happens for grooms when they slip on that tuxedo jacket and button up for that walk down the aisle.
When you’re doing a wedding in Washington D.C., you have the advantage of being surrounded by iconic national history. This shot of the grooms in front of the Jefferson Memorial is definitely one that will stand the test of time.
On your wedding day, you ARE a celebrity. And when celebrities hit the streets, tourists (and paparazzi) will snap a pic or two.
As the wedding party made their way from the monuments over to the wedding ceremony venue, the presidential theme continued as they were married at the Ronald Reagan Building.
That long anticipated moment at the altar has finally arrived: The soon-to-be husband and wife are united in front of the officiant, friends and family.
Man and wife! This day will be forever changed for Victoria and Jean-Bernard and we feel so honored to have been chosen to capture this glorious day in their lives.
The Reagan Building has very historic and grand looking courtyards and plazas that make for excellent wedding party shots.
After the ceremony was over, it was time to eat and party over at Sequoia, a stunning restaurant right on the Potomac River.
If guests aren’t making squinty faces while they selfies at your wedding reception, is it really a party? We don’t think so!
You know the groomsmen have really started to get down when the tuxedo jackets are off and the suspenders are on full display!
With the splendid day coming to a close, Victoria and Jean-Bernard quickly sneak away from their guests to steal a private moment together and seal their newly established union with a quick kiss.
We want to thank Victoria and Jean-Bernard again for allowing us to be a part of their special day and all of us here at Judah Avenue want to extend our congratulations.
