When my couples worry about rain, I always assure them that we can do it. This was one of my bride’s favorite shots, taken on a particularly wet and dreary day in downtown Washington DC. It’s all part of the story, and as you may see, a little bit of rain actually diffuses the light and eliminates harsh shadows in the face. It’s like working with a giant soft box on location. So have fun, even if it rains on your shoot.
