To fall in love with Autumn {Washington DC Engagement Photography}

So, its not that I don’t believe in black and white shots, I love them, but this Fall engagement shoot made it so difficult for me to choose any black and white shots for the blog. I love love loved every single image and could not resist presenting this post to you in beautiful riotous fresh color. I’m not going to rhapsodize about the beautiful magical light but yes the amazingly fabulous and warm lighting is every reason why more people should get engaged in the fall. This couple is not only beautiful for my pictures but soothing for the spirit. The bride-to-be, also called Autumn, is a talented violinist and when she played I wanted to put down my camera and just lie by the lake and lose myself in the sweeping streams of violin. Hope you guys enjoy viewing the photos as much as I did taking them. Congratulations to Autumn and Suleman (who fell in love with Autumn!)

Duglas and Makia’s Rockwood Manor Wedding in Potomac, MD

So I’ve decided to do what everybody else is doing and join Facebook, and make longer posts so, starting with Dug and Makia, who were such an amazing couple to work with.  Thanks for making me a part of your day Dug and Makia, you rock! Oh by the way this bride is TALENTED! She made the beautiful bouquet she is holding at the end of this post on the spur of the moment, I was really impressed and honored to work with her. I know with all the creativity she let out for her special day, we’ll someday be hearing more of her in wedding circles. Enjoy.

Sneak Peek: Dug and Makia {Rockwood Manor Potomac Wedding}

Snapshots from a Spring LoveStyle Session

A LoveStyle™ shoot is a Judah Avenue mini photo session just for those who are not quite engaged but still want some romantic shots together. This shoot was flirty, whimsical and loads of fun to shoot. Special thanks to these two who were totally game for a few shots on a pretty but hot spring day…can’t complain though, the flowers came all out for us. Keep posted for more pictures.
